A fire rebuild for a family who lost everything in the Eaton Fire, including their beloved turtle. The design blends the classical architecture of Durango, Mexico with my own interpretation, creating a warm, substantial home rooted in traditional Mexican architecture while tailored to modern California living. A small turtle memorial in the landscape carries a piece of the family’s former home into the new one.
